Dee Ohh single GEE HOUSE.

So I have had possibly the busiest week EVER.

i'll begin with the end.

I'm off to Venice tonight… i still haven't packed and i leave in a few hours.
From venice were going to Croatia where we are going to go crazy at Outlook Festival, so i wont be posting in the next few days.

Then on sunday i went up to Bricklane to meet with the Doghouse family and did a shoot for their new collection of Bags. WHICH ARE INCREDIBLE.

it was beautiful blue skies that day.

Me and the amazingly creative Manjit. The Dog-father fo shoo.

This is their marker stool in Brick lane…. check out their website… dog house

Then as well as working a nightshift and full time work I got the opportunity to assist a stylist named Natalie who writes the amazing blog layers and swathes. It was a shoot for the feathers online look book.
I felt incredibly lucky that this was my first proper experience on set and the team was so SO nice!

every shot looked incredible and i can't wait to see the final product.

And so long for now, I am off to finish packing. We have also just found out our transfers from Venice to croatia are booked for the wrong day… they're booked for tomorrow before we even arrive in Italy. There is nothing we can do at this time of night so our adventure is going to be even more hectic and even more sporadic.

XOXO

and again.

I'm like a broken record when it comes to Jefferey Campbell. He never fails to deliver the freshest shoes on the block.
Lita's are the most comfy shoes on the planet.
This new addition to the Lita range is just above and beyond incredible.

Late birthday present anyone?

Also…

I apologise for the lack of posts… i have been  super busy working and getting my life back on track.

It starts tomorrow as I'm assisting a stylist on a massive fashion shoot . I am SUPER excited… It's what I've been waiting to do and I've been deliberating on what to wear since i got asked to do it, Lets just say it involves some J.C's as always.

I will post the shoot on here when the final images come through and do a diary type entry of the 2 days with pictures if i can.

Too Heavy for words.

I'm speechless and late.

I NEED THESE George Cox ladies creeper boots!!!

They take the tradition Brothel Creeper into a whole new dimension. Anyone that works with me knows how much i go on about creepers because they have become a 'big deal' this season and every brief i explain what they are…

well anyways… Topshop need to up their game because I'm directing you to ASOS for these bad boys

you should have put a ring on it.

uh oh….

Spanish Moss Vintage still remains to be one of my key websites for inspiration.

I've only ever bought 1 item from them and this was ages ago… back when they still had an Ebay site.

So anyways…

here my latest dose of inspiration…

Very hard to find short dresses that don't look cheap…

They loved this so they put many rings on it.

This Maurie and Eve cherokee dress below is abstract-astic.
one of the trends i did in my previous styling shoot was Kaleidoscope… I rest my case.

Check out these Lovely bones. I love cuffs, and this bone wrist cuff is heavy!

Time to wag your tail… grab yourself a tail or two and make a boring outfit or bag right on trend.

so long.

just quickly.

Henry Holland for Le Specs…

Errr… HELLO BEAUTIFUL.

these glasses are right up my alley.

These hooded specs are just wonderful.

zzzzzzz.

I Neeeeeeed this Tee by Trapstar.

Basquiat is one of my all time favourite artists, yet so underrated and under-hyped.

The picture on the tee emphasises the, in hindsight, fight for fame and success that occurred between Warhol and Basquiat.

Many people are not even aware of Basquiat's existence, whether it was down to race, talent or commerciality of his artwork is a deeper question. Basquiat died young due to substance abuse. Like many great artists his full potential was never determined. I feel this image highlights the constant battle for success in any profession. The fight to be remembered.

It is a Collab between Donuts and Trapstar.

Who's to be celebrated? If any.

I'm shattered so goodnight. time to catch some zzzz's.

One last thing though… got an iphone? Get Instagram. Its the best ap ever and follow me… danistate
