So halloween is my favourite holiday.
I don't really know why but it is - possibly my love for American culture.

I have some crazy ideas for fancy dress... They're heavy (i don't mean to blow my own trumpet.)
I'll be sure to take some pictures.

I'm also planning on waking up SUPER early tomorrow and have a Halloween creative day.

Found this bit of amazing inspiration.

lack of I.

So I normally just don't post if I'm feeling uninspired.
It's not for any reason other than that I can't find anything that seems new and exciting.

So I think I'm going to take my DSLR out on a hike this week.
I got a new film camera last week from a charity shop which i am LOVING.

but for now since I want to go and see 'Midnight In Paris' this weekend when it comes out i will make this post Parisian inspired.

 - Paris is one of my favourite places, I've visited there quite a lot last year and had the most amazing time with some of my favourite people.

Because this video is pretty irrelevant but make me want to be french.

The images below are from a blog i love, 'i still shoot film'

It's all about film cameras, and this is why.

You don't get images like this from digital media.

Because Bon Iver means 'Good Winter'
and this rendition is beyond beautiful.

I vouch to make it more fashion related next time, and maybe do some outfit posts, as i haven't in a while.

beautiful haze.

So I'm not really a fan of just re-posting 'pretty' photo's on my blog, but this is different.

These are the work of Eleanor Hardwick.

I d'ont think she does anything that hasn't been seen before but as a body of work it is just aesthetically perfect.

there is dreamy haze about each image.

whether she incorporates people or not every image is delicate and endearing. It seems there is a magical tale behind each image.

J.C does it again.

So after my rant about Robyn's shoes at Bestival i find these BadBOYS.

O.K so they're not flatform Timberlands but they are pretty heavy.

student loan purchase? well alright then.

sunday splash

get your credit cards ready for a splurge this sunday.'s fine you can thank me later!

this track from Florence and the Machine's new album is amazing.

lately i have been listening to her song 'falling' an awful lot but this is pretty mesmerising too.

the lyrics are beautiful combined with her voice it's perfect.

whilst on the topic of worth while female artists…

anyone who knows me knows my love for Marina Diamandis..
And apparently a buddy of hers is one of my new favourite people to listen to.

Lana Del Ray.

if you haven't heard of her yet, you will.
